Exprentis signed a new services agreement and started two new AML analytics contracts for a French bank.

Fairfax, Virginia, June 2017 – Exprentis Inc., a Virginia-based technology vendor and a long-term provider of services addressing the challenges of Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Model Risk Management (MRM) signed a new master services agreement with a French global financial services company with correspondent banking and brokerage services in the USA.

Exprentis was retained to provide independent AML model validation services to respond to the regulatory demands placed on the Correspondent Banking lines of business in the US. The models were both vendor-delivered and custom-built using the SAS platform and covering behavior detection, country and name extraction, and matching against watch lists. Another project included validation of the global Financial Crime Customer Risk rating methodology and model implementation including multiple configurations of the model to various geographical jurisdictions and validation of multitude of data feeds.

Exprentis won the new contracts by providing comprehensive proposals that covered the details of the planned work, as well as the Exprentis project methodology, and technology tools developed over that last several years. “Our winning proposals and bids made us especially proud and happy, since we competed and won against much larger professional services firms that have significantly larger human and financial resources” – said Ewa Grzybowska, Exprentis VP of Analytics and Operations.
