Exprentis released an analytical report about emerging AI and ML FCRM technology products.
Fairfax, Virginia, March 2017 – Exprentis Inc., a Virginia-based technology vendor and a long-term provider of services addressing the challenges of Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Model Risk Management (MRM), released an analytical report summarizing the results of its research focused on emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technology products and vendors servicing Financial Crime Risk Management organizations. Exprentis performed this research for one of the American stock exchanges, which operates a network of US and international electronic markets.
The client retained Exprentis to help with its preliminary Regulatory Technology (RegTech) feasibility research and market analysis, aiming to conceptualize, define, and develop a next generation financial intelligence platform. The first phase of this project was to conceptualize existing business needs and review them from the marketing, and technological perspectives.
The work performed by Exprentis was summarized in a report that contained the initial research results of potential vendors and technologies as well as a product and services’ analysis. The current state of technology and the approach to the financial crime detection was contrasted with emerging needs and technologies. Several product concepts were proposed.
“These kinds of the technology feasibility studies and product research projects are at the core of our team’s capabilities. We’ve studied the current state of the AI, ML, and other emerging horizontal technologies, as well as new RegTech product offerings across the world. The final report included information about over 100 advanced technology vendors and over a dozen new product concepts. The results of our work were very well received by the customer.” – said Dr. Dennis Lee, Lead Scientist on the Exprentis project team, and a veteran of the stock market regulation technology projects.
